Role Summary
The Operations Training Manager (OTM) is responsible for evaluating, developing, and maintaining training systems for associates and frontline leaders across various operational areas. This role is essential for ensuring the readiness and skill enhancement of new employees and ongoing development of leadership talent. The OTM collaborates with operational leaders and human resources to support workforce stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and enhance training systems for associates across different operational streams to align with business needs and production efficiency.
- Lead and mentor diverse training teams, providing daily guidance to ensure effective onboarding and skills training for new associates.
- Promote inclusive training methodologies that cultivate a diverse pipeline of leadership talent.
- Oversee and direct training teams, including operations training specialists and team leads, to ensure effective training delivery.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in leadership, training system execution, and workforce planning in a dynamic environment.
- Associates Degree or relevant certification in fields such as industrial skills training, adult education, or leadership development.
- At least 2 years of experience in designing and delivering in-person training programs.
- Experience working with a multicultural workforce and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
- Experience in engaging with business leaders to build and resource effective training systems.
- Preferred bilingual and multicultural experience.
