Warehouse Operations Manager
Full-Time Opportunity

$27/hour

This salaried role offers a starting annual salary of $55,000, plus bonuses. As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will report directly to the Branch Manager and be responsible for ensuring warehouse operations align with company policies and guidelines. In the Branch Manager's absence, you will oversee the entire warehouse operation. Depending on the warehouse's size and volume, you may manage one or two Assistants. Your duties will include overseeing major departments, such as front end, receiving, perishables, dry goods, equipment, and small-wares, as well as administrative functions, merchandising, safety, HACCP, in-store audits, physical inventory preparation, and participating in external store audits. You will provide leadership and guidance to store employees and department managers, ensuring they communicate effectively with the Branch Manager. You will also provide continuous feedback to employees to optimize productivity and maintain exceptional customer service and satisfaction.


Schedule

Shift start: 8:00 AM or 10:00 AM
Shift length: 9-10 hours
Open availability required, with some overtime possible

Qualifications
  • Must pass a drug screen

A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. A minimum of 4 years of management experience in food service or grocery distribution in a supermarket, club warehouse, big box, or mass merchandising environment is necessary. Experience in P&L, inventory control, merchandising, hiring/training staff, front end, merchandising, cash control, payroll, security/loss prevention is mandatory. Strong leadership skills, capable of running a high-volume warehouse operation, are essential. Excellent communication, organizational, and people management/training skills, as well as a strong customer service orientation, are required.
