Senior Manager of Analog and Mixed Signal Engineering

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the Mixed Signal IP (MSIP) design team to achieve cost, performance, and timely delivery objectives.
- Foster a culture of high performance with a focus on accountability, transparency, and exceeding expectations. Promote a mindset of innovation and continuous learning to tackle complex challenges.
- Possess hands-on expertise in analog/mixed signal IP designs, including DDR/SerDes PHY circuits, performance optimization, and verification methodologies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in mixed signal IP design, particularly in high-speed custom digital, I/O, and clocking design.
- Own and drive the planning process to meet established IP goals, collaborating with peers and team leaders to prioritize immediate and long-term objectives.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including layout, DFT, PnR, and verification, to ensure design convergence and quality assurance.
- Understand MSIP integration workflows and collaborate with SOC owners on technical requirements.
- Work closely with post-silicon validation and characterization teams to execute post-silicon plans and ensure IP readiness for production.
- Implement and promote best-in-class AMS design methodologies to enhance IP development efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with broader AMD teams to integrate new capabilities into the MSIP design process.
- Provide oversight and guidance to team activities, monitor project timelines, and implement corrective actions to achieve project goals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive experience in high-speed SerDes/DDR PHY design.
- Proven leadership in managing MSIP design teams and technical projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex high-speed PHY designs on schedule with superior performance metrics.
- Over 10 years of experience in leading high-speed PHY design teams.
- Self-driven, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global organization.
- Strong communication skills complemented by broad technical expertise, making you a key resource for guiding execution and design activities.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field, accompanied by 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
