In this prominent position, you will conduct laboratory characterization and validation of various analog and mixed signal embedded circuits while collaborating with cross-functional teams to introduce cutting-edge mobile System on Chips (SoCs).

Key Responsibilities:
You will be part of a focused team responsible for:
1. Conducting bench tests, debugging, and characterizing embedded on-chip circuitry (including PLLs, DLLs, Clocks, Data Converters, DDR Memory, and various I/O Interfaces).
2. Developing benchtop electrical tests to evaluate on-chip circuitry through a combination of FPGA, JTAG, SPI, and analog interfaces.
3. Drafting and executing scripts to automate tests, extract results, and generate reports utilizing database and analytical tools.
4. Generating reports for characterization and/or debugging to provide design feedback.
5. Performing in-system PI/SI measurements for correlation with simulation models.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Design, System Hardware, and Software.
7. Supporting Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Product Engineering.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required plus 10 years of industry experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Analog Mixed Signal test development, including reviewing specification documents, drafting validation plans, building test benches, and performing data collection with automation.
Strong foundational understanding of analog and mixed signal circuitry in one or more of the following areas: PLL, Data Converter, DDR Memory, Temperature Sensor, etc.
Proficient in laboratory instruments such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, and Pattern Generators.
Experienced in scripting languages, preferably Python, to automate testing and analyze data.
Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality of results.
Proactive in taking ownership and responsibility to drive deliverables.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Hands-on laboratory experience, including soldering and instrumenting systems, is a plus.

Pay & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
