Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Test Engineer

The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tasks to support our semiconductor design and development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Layout PCBs: Design and layout PCBs for Test and debug of analog/mixed-signal IC prototypes, including testing and characterization of circuit performance.
- Test Setup and Equipment Development: Develop and maintain test setups and equipment, including selection and procurement of appropriate test equipment, and design and construction of test fixtures and setups.
- Test Result Documentation: Document test results and provide feedback to design engineers on performance and reliability of ICs.
- Collaboration with Design Engineers: Collaborate with design engineers to ensure that ICs meet product specifications and quality standards.
- Test Strategies and Plans: Support product development efforts by providing input on test strategies and plans.
- Laboratory Equipment Maintenance: Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring that equipment is properly calibrated and in good working condition.
- Safety Procedures and Regulations: Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations in the laboratory.
- Shipping and Logistics: Handle shipping and logistics for samples / demo boards and devices, as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-years experience with an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in analog/mixed-signal IC testing and design.
- Familiarity with standard analog/mixed-signal test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power supplies.
- Experience with IC test methodologies and procedures, including test plan development and execution, data analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to read and understand circuit schematics and datasheets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with PCB and Layout tools is a plus.
