About the Role

Curtis Lumber Co Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building relationships with contractors and suppliers, identifying sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers to identify sales opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Provide expert knowledge of building materials and products to customers, including features, benefits, and applications.
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other activities to stay informed and engaged.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the building materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials and products, including features, benefits, and applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
