Job Summary:

CESNA is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Financial Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our financial operations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards, contribute to the overall financial health of the organization, and lead the accounting team to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations Management:
    • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring efficient and effective financial processes.
    • Review and approve finance department journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
    • Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Assist the controller in preparing financial reports and statements, providing insights and recommendations for business growth.
    • Review and analyze corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance and optimization of tax strategies.
    • Review and analyze sales tax transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Internal and External Audits:
    • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team, promoting a culture of professionalism and excellence.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Strong understanding of accounting knowledge and US GAAP.
    • Proficiency in Excel, including V-lookup and Pivot Table.
    • Close attention to detail and analytical skills.
    • Bilingual in English and Korean.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
