Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

In this role, you will support the Chief Financial Officer by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial and accounting data related to contract reporting through various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive studies to evaluate intricate financial and accounting data and generate reports as needed.
  • Offer insights into financial policies, governmental regulations, accounting principles, or customer financial standards.
  • Analyze financial data to assess current and future financial performance.
  • Identify trends and propose enhancements accordingly.
  • Review complex profit plans, operational records, and financial statements.
  • Oversee the preparation of studies and reports analyzing budgets, forecasts, financial strategies, governmental requirements, statistical data, cash flow projections, and business forecasts.
  • Interpret and apply corporate financial policies, government regulations, and accounting principles.
  • Establish databases of relevant information for future planning and forecasting.
  • Provide management with recommendations regarding cost-saving measures or profit-enhancing opportunities and strategies for improving profitability.
  • Collaborate with all management levels to collect, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations on financial plans, acquisition activities, new business strategies, future requirements, governmental obligations, and operational forecasts.
  • Research and prepare economic reports on topics such as return on investment, depreciation, working capital needs, investment opportunities, investment performance, and the impact of governmental regulations.
  • Assist the agency's controller in budget development, planning, and other corporate financial necessities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited four-year institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project-driven environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and compliance with the agency's automobile insurance requirements.
