Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Jackson Hewitt. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for monitoring the finances of our growing company.
Key Responsibilities:- Record all financial transactions, including cash payments, into the correct general ledger and verify their accuracy.
- Review financial transactions for accuracy and input them into the correct ledger.
- Paying vendors as they come due and making deposits and recording all cash receipts.
- Manage the office petty cash fund.
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and math skills.
- Knowledge of payroll and bookkeeping principles.
- Understand how to balance large bank accounts.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA is a plus.
- Previous bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
