Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance Accountant to join our team at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the monthly finance close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Participate in the annual year-end audit, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Perform various administrative functions, including data analysis and financial modeling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • At least two years of work experience in a business-related field, preferably in accounting or finance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Outlook software, with experience in Microsoft Power Point and Adobe Acrobat a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, with hospital/healthcare-based work experience.
  • MBA, CHFP, or CPA designation a plus.
