The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist will be integral in steering the financial planning and analysis functions.

This role requires close collaboration with senior management to facilitate strategic decision-making through thorough financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

The FP&A Specialist will develop and maintain financial models, conduct variance analyses, and assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning:
Support the creation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.

Analysis:
Perform in-depth financial analysis to uncover trends, variances, and performance indicators. Provide actionable insights to leadership.

Reporting:
Compile and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Modeling:
Design, maintain, and enhance financial models to aid budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts.

Data Management:
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Enhance financial reporting systems and processes.
Variance Analysis:

Conduct variance analysis to clarify discrepancies between actual results and budgets/forecasts, identifying key drivers and suggesting corrective actions.


Business Partnering:

Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Sales, Operations, Marketing) to understand their financial requirements and provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation.


Ad Hoc Projects:
Assist with special projects and initiatives as necessary, offering financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is advantageous.
Experience: 3-5 years in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related area.

Technical Skills:
Expertise in financial modeling and analysis. Advanced Excel proficiency is essential.

Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC, Adaptive Insights) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.


Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

Communication Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex financial data clearly and succinctly.

Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to work effectively in a team and engage with various management levels.


Organizational Skills:
Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Professionalism:
