Job Title: Senior Director of Corporate Engagement

Year Up United is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Corporate Engagement to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Engagement function, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships with major corporations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of target and existing Large Local Account (LLA) accounts to achieve acquisition, renewal, and expansion of assigned accounts.
  • Review personal pipeline monthly to understand expansion opportunities for assigned accounts.
  • Meet or exceed performance indicators, including revenue retained or marginal revenue growth in assigned accounts, conversion percentage, cross-selling of other Year Up United offerings to accounts, internship placements, and partner satisfaction.
  • Regularly attend networking or industry events to steward assigned accounts and create effective proposals featuring Year Up United's model and past successes for solving corporate entry-level talent needs with LLA Accounts across LLA team.
  • Oversee logistics related to client accounts and lead via influence with local colleagues to ensure delivery on mutual beneficial account plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities in Salesforce.com and create a culture of high service, high support, and high expectations in work with corporate partners.
Qualifications:
  • At least 10+ years of professional experience in strategic account management and/or sales to enterprise-level accounts.
  • 7+ years of experience managing an array of executive relationships across major accounts.
  • Consultative sales approach and background in technology or technology-enabled solutions preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close business, and manage annual sales targets of $5M+.
  • Proven ability to influence, develop, manage, support, and empower employees to achieve objectives within a team.
  • Documented strengths in meaningful relationship building, management, and growth to scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to set direction and manage complex teams, projects, and processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A professional and resourceful style with the ability to work independently and as a team player, to take initiative, and to manage multiple tasks and projects at a time.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams, facilitate difficult conversations, and resolve issues.
  • Ability to lead, willingness to be led, and comfort with situational leadership.
  • Consummate networking skills with an ability to move comfortably and credibly in the community.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and development databases; Salesforce.com experience preferred.
