Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with and advise the Chief Operating Officer on relevant issues, market changes, and potential threats and opportunities, presenting actionable plans for approval to meet organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with executive team leaders and hospital representatives to formulate the hospital's mission, strategic plans, service scope, budgets, resource allocation, operational plans, and policies.
  • Articulate and define the vision and strategic direction for Regional One Health, working together on the implementation of strategies to achieve:
    • A values-driven work environment that fosters the ongoing achievement of ROH's mission.
    • A shared vision for the organization.
    • Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop organizational strategic and operational plans in partnership with the Executive Team and Medical Staff.
  • Lead organizational initiatives and prioritize resource allocation.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with medical staff and other internal and external partners.
  • Drive quality and process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in the development of new programs, services, and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive senior-level healthcare administration experience in an acute care hospital, demonstrating documented achievements and leadership roles is required.
  • Experience in a union environment is preferred.

Physical Demands: The role may require occasional standing and walking, while sitting is a constant requirement. Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, and grasping are rarely needed. Constant talking and hearing are essential, along with frequent repetitive motions and eye/hand/foot coordination.
