The ideal candidate will collaborate with a team of IT professionals who are committed to advancing technology and methodologies in the field of information technology. We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive workplace that values diverse skills and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist internal employees through our helpdesk system, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as necessary.
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical personnel.
  • Resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops and printers to ensure user satisfaction.
  • Set up, configure, and test new workstations and software applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity challenges.
  • Maintain data integrity and backup systems.
  • Utilize security measures to safeguard the network against cyber threats.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues before they affect users.
  • Conduct software testing and review application logs.
  • Manage user accounts, including updates to passwords and email addresses.
  • Collaborate with fellow System Administrators and Architects on various projects.
  • Document processes, procedures, and technical guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a System Administrator in a Windows environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows Server and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of server hardware, storage solutions, and RAID setups.
  • Comprehension of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, etc.).
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Must be a US citizen or a permanent resident.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • CompTIA Certification is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting LANs and WANs.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and performance optimization tools.
  • Familiarity with next-generation firewalls.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware.
  • Understanding of patch management processes.
  • A degree or diploma in computer science or related IT certifications.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MCSA or MCITP.
  • CISCO certifications, including CCNA.
  • Awareness of CMMC standards.
