This role is a part-time position in the Salt Lake City area.

Key Responsibilities:
As a New Employee Orientation Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Designing relevant course objectives and curriculum tailored for new hires across various departments and organizational levels.

2. Developing tools, resources, and programs to ensure a positive onboarding experience at SkyWest Airlines.

3. Evaluating training materials to confirm their functionality and effectiveness.

4. Overseeing logistical tasks required during training sessions (e.g., managing badge photos, reviewing documents, coordinating with additional support staff).

5. Conducting both small-group and large classroom training sessions, including virtual formats.

6. Collaborating as part of a team to support all recruitment initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and swiftly adapt to changing environments and priorities.

- Proactive in seeking solutions and resolving issues.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for the SkyWest culture.

- Strong business insight and public speaking abilities.

- Experience with alternative training delivery methods (e.g., experiential training, computer-based training, instructional videos, etc.).

- Proficient facilitation skills (e.g., adept at leading diverse groups, guiding teams to consensus, encouraging self-discovery rather than lecturing).

- Expertise in project planning, execution, and management.

- Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize information into actionable recommendations and presentations.

Physical and Other Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License and eligibility to rent vehicles as necessary.

- Capability to obtain additional credentials (e.g., SIDA badges) as required.

- Meet physical and other criteria necessary for conducting instructor-led training in various settings.

- Availability to work a part-time schedule, approximately 20 hours per week. The current schedule includes a mix of on-site and virtual sessions.
