Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; some college education or vocational training is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience with video recording equipment is essential.
  • Proficient in using computers and standard office equipment.
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with video recording technology.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

The Visual News Specialist must be capable of performing various physical tasks, including sitting for extended periods, engaging in telephone conversations, utilizing electronic communication, and conducting in-person discussions. The role requires the ability to make independent decisions that affect team outcomes, work collaboratively with others, and adapt to both indoor and outdoor environments.

Additionally, the specialist should be able to lift and manage equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and work under varying lighting conditions.
