YOUR ROLE AT CELTIC BANK
Investigating and comprehending industry compliance regulations and policies.

Assessing compliance risks associated with Bank and SLP offerings and procedures.

Supporting the creation and implementation of test scripts to evaluate compliance with laws and regulations.


Reviewing and analyzing Bank and SLP policies, procedures, and documentation of operational controls to ensure they meet industry standards and legal requirements.

Engaging with employees and management across Bank and SLP business units to assess compliance processes and controls.

Reporting identified deficiencies, gaps, and issues to Bank and SLP stakeholders.

Assisting in the preparation of reports for management regarding monitoring and testing activities, findings, and action plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
A Bachelor's degree with experience in Compliance or Banking is preferred; or, if no degree, 4 years of relevant compliance or banking experience.

Detail-oriented with exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written).


Familiarity with compliance program management, third-party oversight, and consumer protection financial regulations, including UDAAP, TILA/CARD ACT/Regulation Z, ECOA, fair lending regulations, FCRA/FACTA, Privacy, Military lending, commercial lending regulations, and Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering laws.

Experience in complaint management, incident management, marketing compliance, and understanding of third-party oversight principles.

Knowledge and experience in conducting internal control reviews, quality assessments, or Compliance or Audit testing.

Ability to problem-solve and work independently.

Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously.

Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, demonstrating excellent time management, organization, and planning skills.

Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and SharePoint/OneDrive.

Adaptability to changing departmental priorities while remaining attentive to daily demands.

Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and work collaboratively.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

CRCM certification is preferred but not required.

Experience working with regulators (FDIC, Utah Department of Financial Institutions) is advantageous.
