Utilizing a blend of classroom instruction, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and On-the-Job Training (OJT) methodologies, this position is essential in ensuring that team members are proficient in machinery operation, safety compliance, and quality assurance, ultimately enhancing productivity and reducing operational interruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead both theoretical and practical training sessions for new and current employees, employing diverse instructional techniques such as simulations, e-learning modules, workshops, and personalized coaching.
- Implement and assess the initial two-week OJT program, oversee training documentation within the LMS, and foster employee skill enhancement throughout the onboarding phase.
- Simplify intricate concepts to enhance trainee comprehension, evaluate understanding, conduct individual feedback sessions, and modify training content as required.
- Evaluate trainees' skills and competencies through assessments and practical examinations, providing constructive feedback to both trainees and supervisors regarding training outcomes and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and document training progress, maintaining thorough records of training activities and employee performance, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and safety teams to align training programs with operational objectives, revising training materials and addressing any training-related challenges.
- Build and sustain relationships with cross-departmental teams, engaging in continuous improvement projects and advocating for a culture centered on safety and quality.
- Guarantee that all training initiatives adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards, remaining informed on best practices and regulatory updates to ensure compliance.
- Maintain detailed training records, generate reports on training effectiveness and employee growth, and analyze training data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
Qualifications:
Skills:
Proven experience in delivering technical training within a manufacturing context, showcasing a solid grasp of production workflows, equipment handling, and safety protocols. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a focus on effectively assessing and evaluating trainee performance.
Technical Proficiency:
Competence in utilizing e-learning platforms, training software, and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for training administration, data management, and reporting purposes.
Education:
An Associate's degree, High School Diploma, or a combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the beverage can production and filling sector. Previous experience in a training or instructional capacity is highly valued.
