Quality Technical Coach

As a Quality Technical Coach at Caliber Collision Centers, you will play a critical role in coaching center teammates in repairs and estimations to achieve and maintain Caliber Certification with 3rd party Verifacts. This position requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to effectively mentor and train others.
Key Responsibilities:- Mentor repair technicians, estimators, and management to ensure adherence to Caliber's quality standards and OEM specifications.
- Utilize 3rd party Verifacts software to file reports on accurate completion of repairs to OE standards.
- Conduct follow-up meetings with center teammates to review progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with center and operations leadership to review reports and ensure accountability and successful management of parts, center systems, processes, equipment, and training verification.
- Recommend and coordinate necessary training for areas of need based on quality reviews.
- Train ICAR courses to support local and regional needs.
- Partner with executive team and field leadership to build alliances and perform liaison activities.
- Complete facility inspections as assigned and submit reports using Verifacts software.
- Review reports with center and operations leadership to ensure accountability and successful management of parts, center systems, processes, equipment, and training verification.
- Maintain a reporting structure that monitors performance indicators and certification eligibility.
- Create actionable plans to improve processes and procedures to achieve objectives, including metrics of success and deliverables.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under company insurance policy.
- Maintain or acquire ICAR Trainer certification.
- 5+ years' experience in collision repair and/or insurance estimation or adjustment.
- ASE, I-CAR, and/or other industry certifications preferred (Pro-Level 3).
- Working knowledge of CCC One, Estimating Systems, and Excel.
- Significant daily travel to visit centers throughout the company.
- Maintain a minimum standard of continuing education annually to stay abreast of industry and coaching best practices.
- Represent Caliber with integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others, verbal and written.
- Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
- Organization and multi-tasking skills, good time management, and ability to adapt easily to changing environments.
- Ability to understand workflows and navigate and submit reports using an iPad.
- Training or teaching experience preferred.
- Personable, friendly demeanor with a World Class customer service approach with internal and external customers.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance.
