Job Overview

At dancker, we believe that effective asset and inventory management is crucial for optimizing the lifespan of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Account Manager to join our team, focusing on building and sustaining long-term partnerships that enable our clients to reduce costs, enhance operational efficiency, and reclaim valuable space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish realistic short- and long-term sales objectives aimed at boosting organizational revenue.
  • Focus on identifying new business prospects as a primary responsibility.
  • Expand existing accounts by introducing a wider array of service offerings.
  • Drive sales growth and improve profit margins by successfully closing business deals.
  • Engage with dancker leadership to facilitate introductions to executive-level contacts in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, and End Users.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leads from our Workplace Technology, Furniture, and ForBuild Teams to explore cross-referral opportunities or joint strategies for existing and new accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Account Managers and product/service specialists within dancker to ensure the presentation of suitable resources to external stakeholders.
  • Prepare compelling bid responses that emphasize our commitment to delivering top-tier service aligned with client expectations.
  • Work alongside Marketing to create case studies and strategize communication campaigns.
  • Evaluate membership and event opportunities to pinpoint those with the highest potential return on investment for dancker.
  • Coordinate with team members to produce accurate and timely specifications, ensuring effective project management.
  • Implement technology solutions tailored to meet client needs.
  • Consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Foster and maintain robust vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of relevant market experience.
  • Strong network within the DMV area (DC, Maryland, and Virginia).
  • Proficient in prospecting.
  • Ability to present effectively to client groups.
  • Demonstrated strong closing skills.
  • Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
  • Professional demeanor with high energy.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Consultative approach to sales.
  • Passionate about leveraging technology.
