Job Summary:

As an Administrative Support Specialist at First Tek, Inc., you will provide critical support to the Plant Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable, purchasing, and housekeeping duties, as well as maintaining facility files and performing document control. You will also be responsible for processing daily paperwork and reports, reviewing production records, and generating budget reports. Additionally, you will track employee training sessions and monthly safety meetings, schedule physicals, and ensure all facility licenses and permits are current. If you have 5+ years of experience as an administrative assistant and proficiency in Google Workspace, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides administrative support to the Plant Manager

Manages accounts payable, purchasing, and housekeeping duties

Maintains facility files and performs document control

Processes daily paperwork and reports

Reviews production records and generates budget reports

Tracks employee training sessions and monthly safety meetings

Schedules physicals and ensures all facility licenses and permits are current

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required

5+ years experience as an administrative assistant

Proficiency in Google Workspace

Ability to enter data efficiently, timely, and correctly in order to meet deadlines

Good planning and organizational skills

Ability to professionally interact with business contacts both inside and outside of the company

Strong verbal, listening, and written communications skills

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and confidentiality

Strong time management and multitasking skills

Ability to work independently or as a team player
