Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Culinary Director to lead our culinary team and drive the success of our Tex-Mex dining concept, Paco's Tacos and Tequila. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our culinary strategy, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Develop and implement our culinary strategy, including menu planning, food costing, and inventory management.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
  • Financial Management: Manage kitchen expenses, including food costs, labor costs, and inventory.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: Proven track record as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume full-service setting.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Tex-Mex culinary practices and techniques.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen related to kitchen operations.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred.
