POSITION OVERVIEW


The Senior Marketing Specialist serves as a key contributor, playing a vital role in executing our marketing initiatives across multiple platforms.

This individual will collaborate closely with the VP of Brand & Marketing to identify opportunities for enhancing marketing effectiveness. They will oversee third-party collaborations to ensure the successful implementation of marketing campaigns on a daily basis.

This role is highly collaborative, engaging with various teams and departments within the organization, while also being actively involved in hands-on tasks.

This position is integral to a team that encompasses Brand, Communications, and Marketing.

Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a closely related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing or a comparable combination of education and experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure a consistent and impactful representation of the brand across all marketing efforts.
  • Implement marketing strategies through traditional channels such as in-branch displays, direct mail, ATM visuals, brochures, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing agencies to create content (both written and visual) that aligns with brand strategy and business goals.
  • Execute marketing campaigns across traditional channels, ensuring consistency with brand identity and integration with digital marketing efforts.
  • Partner with internal teams (Digital Delivery, Lending, Training, Operations, IT) to execute marketing initiatives that drive engagement, growth, or retention.
  • Oversee the complete content production process, working with external design teams to ensure high-quality content delivery.
  • Prepare campaign performance summaries, monitor marketing effectiveness, and conduct competitive analyses to identify areas for improvement and inform future strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analyze data to effectively reach target demographics.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviors to identify opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
  • Gather and analyze internal and external data to uncover consumer insights and make data-driven recommendations for maximizing business impact.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Brand & Marketing and agencies to understand metrics and track, measure, and report on campaign performance.
  • Review, write, and edit content for typographical accuracy, brand tone, and visual consistency across various materials.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of regulatory compliance related to member services and financial services.
  • Address inquiries, requests, and issues courteously and within established timelines.
  • Provide project management support to ensure timely completion of tasks and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to compliance requirements related to financial regulations.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in presenting key updates to various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with digital and direct marketing channels.
  • Proficient in using online analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media reporting).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Canva, and other marketing software.
  • Ability to provide high-level copywriting as needed.
