Fargo, ND

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, with morning and evening shifts ranging from 8am-6pm. Weekend shifts require working 1 to 2 Saturdays a month from 8:30am-12pm.

POSITION OVERVIEW


The Behavioral Support Technician I (RBT) role involves delivering direct behavioral analytic services under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) for children and young adults supported by Anne Carlsen.

This role encompasses the execution of individualized care plans and behavioral intervention strategies, alongside evidence-based curricula and programming.

The position also provides training, support, and direction to the client's team and staff, utilizing effective problem-solving skills to assess client needs and staff training requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is mandatory.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Completion of the 40-hour RBT training requirement and certification within 4 months of hire.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Intranet, Internet, and Telehealth technologies.
  • Ability to organize, manipulate, and communicate information effectively.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to guide the work of individuals served, employing problem-solving skills, adapting to rapid changes, and intervening promptly in crisis situations.
  • Experience as an RBT with training in Applied Behavioral Analysis principles and techniques, including familiarity with behavioral plans and services.
