Job Overview:
The Cleaning Technician I plays a crucial role in ensuring a hygienic and secure workplace for all employees by maintaining cleanliness in office environments and communal areas according to established cleaning protocols.
Work Schedule: This position operates Monday through Friday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM. We encourage our staff to adopt a work style that suits their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning tasks in various areas including offices, restrooms, cafeterias, lobbies, windows, computer centers, meeting rooms, and other facilities while managing waste disposal throughout the premises.
- Utilize cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, and floor polishers effectively.
- Employ safe lifting techniques and movement practices to prevent injuries.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in optimal condition and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Handle a variety of cleaning agents, adhering to safety instructions and familiarizing oneself with material safety data sheets for potentially hazardous substances.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to focus on tasks and achieve goals efficiently.
Educational Background:
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: High School Diploma or GED

Experience Requirements:
Required: Minimum of 6 months in a cleaning or related role.
Preferred: Minimum of 1 year in a similar position.
Experience Details: At least 6 months of relevant experience demonstrating the necessary skills.
