Job Summary

The Radiology Student Tech will assist licensed technologists in observing patient populations and evaluating proper exposure settings for exams. This role may also perform administrative duties to support the technologist while on duty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observe and assist licensed technologists in patient positioning and exposure settings
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the technologist
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

Qualifications

  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum completion of 1 year in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Knowledge of diagnostic radiographic procedures and performance standards
  • Minimum completion of 1 semester of hospital clinical
  • State license and ARRT within 6 months of graduation
