Position Overview:

The Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) plays a crucial role in executing diagnostic radiological procedures, specifically focusing on bone densitometry. This position is vital in ensuring that all procedures are conducted efficiently and in accordance with physician directives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to guarantee safe and effective patient care.
  • Maintain quality control and operational standards for the bone density unit.
  • Prepare necessary equipment and supplies for imaging procedures.
  • Document and manage logs related to equipment maintenance and quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current state certification is mandatory.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
  • Proficiency in computer systems is required.

Experience:
  • Preferred experience of at least two years as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist.
  • Experience in bone densitometry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow established protocols and procedures accurately.
