The Sales Account Manager will engage in a dual role, combining customer service for our most valued clients with the analysis of both micro and macro industry trends.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough analysis of vendor products and business data.
- Generate quotes in alignment with company guidelines.
- Comprehend the evolving objectives of suppliers and how Pioneer can meet those needs.
- Communicate the significance and advantages of Pioneer's support functions.
- Become a subject matter expert in Pioneer's market niche.
- Maintain a solid understanding of vendor products and their applications.
- Identify growth market segments and products to ensure ongoing success.
- Anticipate shifts in vendor relationships and potential industry threats.
- Occasional travel for trade shows and vendor engagements.
- Effectively articulate sales and customer service communications, both verbally and in writing.
- Collaborate effectively as part of the team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience in a business development role.
- Motivation and energy to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities.
- General experience in data analysis is preferred.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
- Strong project management skills.
- Creative problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
