Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team at US Foods. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing established and new customers, selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities- Foster Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Account Management: Sell food and non-food items to new and existing customers, negotiating prices and terms to meet sales and profitability goals.
- Delivery and Logistics: Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department, troubleshooting any problems that occur during the order process.
- Account Receivable Management: Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients to ensure timely payment.
- New Business Development: Identify prospective customers through market intelligence databases, business directories, and other sources, developing new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
- Market Knowledge and Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales, sharing this information with customers to provide value-added services.
- Customer Service and Support: Provide exceptional customer service and support, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- 1+ Year of Sales Experience: Proven sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry or a related field.
- Foodservice Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the foodservice industry, including culinary, restaurant management, and hospitality concepts.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Results-Driven and Competitive: A competitive spirit and results-driven mentality, with a focus on achieving sales and profitability goals.
- Problem-Solving and Negotiation Skills: Ability to analyze problems, negotiate prices and terms, and develop creative solutions to meet customer needs.

- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with experience using customer relationship management tools a plus.
