Job Summary:

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sales Professional to join our National Account Retail Sales team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating new market share through sales of loss prevention products and services to new targeted opportunities, as well as expanding existing products and services to existing customers within the assigned account portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure profitable new business through relationships with multiple level contacts within large retail customer organizations.
• Manage all aspects of assigned accounts, including opportunity identification, pre-sales planning, deal execution, post-sales installation planning and follow up, and customer issue resolution.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and manufacturing teams to define product specification and ensure 100% acceptance of products by clients.
• Present products to customers to accomplish customer acceptance of the value-added proposition attached to the Company's products and its services, and to achieve sale closures on terms that are mutually satisfactory to the customer and the Company.

Requirements:

• BS/BA Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field experience.
• Minimum of 6 (six) years of sales or sales management experience within the retail sector.
• Demonstrated consistent record of achieving performance goals.
• Experience with product and solution selling, selling to Retailers, and selling Loss Prevention systems and or products at the C-level.

What We Offer:

Johnson Controls offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $120,000, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This role also includes a competitive sales commission plan and a comprehensive benefits package.
