Essential Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology is required.
  • This position may involve travel and/or relocation.
  • U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Sponsorship is not available at this time.

Desirable Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in SAP projects, including 2 years in full-life cycle implementation projects specifically in SAP MM.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements, providing both conceptual and detailed designs to fulfill business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, drafting detailed specifications for the development of ABAP custom programs, testing, and implementing automated solutions.
  • Strong practical experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration, and system integration areas.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in B2B Integration and system-to-system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interface methods are essential.
  • Extensive understanding of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces, and user exits is crucial.
  • Experience in Master Data related projects and Enterprise Portal is advantageous.
  • Ability to read ABAP code is necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and communication abilities.
  • Experience in project management is preferred, with expected planning and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in writing functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces.
  • Experience in Logistics Execution is required.
  • Collaboration with business users to define scope and gather business requirements is essential.
  • Testing and rollout of the final product are part of the responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Planning and coordination skills are vital.

The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Effective communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face is necessary. Travel may be required based on job demands.
