The Territory Manager will oversee sales and customer relations, collaborating closely with Inside Sales, Branch Management, and Inventory Management.

This role entails managing the field sales efforts for a designated geographic territory as assigned by branch management, while engaging positively with internal resources as necessary. The Territory Manager will:

  • Establish and nurture strong customer relationships through personal visits and online resources to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Analyze market data to understand customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Develop sales campaigns and optimize personal productivity through effective planning and organization.
  • Compile lists of potential customers from various sources, including trade publications and business directories.

Additionally, the Territory Manager will provide customer service and inventory data to management and prepare reports on business contacts, transactions, and expenses.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess an undergraduate degree, preferably in business administration or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the metals industry.

Requirements:
  • General business acumen and sales expertise.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize mainframe programs (Metalware).
