Position Overview:

Eaton's Electrical division is seeking a Senior Electrical Testing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our testing capabilities and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Electrical Testing Specialist, you will:

1. **Lead Testing Initiatives:** Oversee the development, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive testing and assembly processes to support product integrity.

2. **Safety Compliance:** Formulate test equipment specifications that adhere to electrical safety protocols, hazard identification, and OSHA regulations, fostering a zero-incident safety culture.

3. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Coordinate with various departments including production, quality assurance, and engineering to align resources and achieve unified operational goals.

4. **Guidance and Support:** Provide expertise in the design, selection, and troubleshooting of test equipment and electrical systems, enhancing testing protocols and data collection methodologies.

5. **Mentorship:** Coach and mentor electrical test personnel, guiding them in their professional development and aligning their goals with the Eaton Leadership Model.

6. **Continuous Improvement:** Utilize methodologies such as Kaizen and structured problem-solving to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical or controls engineering, design, troubleshooting, or testing.
- Authorization to work in the US without company sponsorship.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Over 4 years of relevant experience in electrical testing procedures.
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices.
- Experience in engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing environments.
- Certification as a Green Belt or Black Belt in process improvement.

Skills and Competencies:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics and standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change in a matrixed environment.
