About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at R1 RCM Inc. in the Emergency Department of Ascension St. Thomas Midtown Hospital. As a key member of our Patient Registration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and efficient registration process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and verify patient information, including demographic and insurance details, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and questions in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with clinicians and other staff members to ensure accurate and timely registration.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing health plans and coverage, utilizing this knowledge to provide accurate and efficient registration services.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
