Position Overview

Clinical Supervisor - Family Medicine

The Clinical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations of clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care across multiple practice sites.

  • Conducts evaluations of clinical personnel, assessing both clinical competencies and technological proficiency, while completing annual performance reviews.
  • Provides guidance and support to clinical teams at various locations through regular site visits.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of patient records and documentation systems.
  • Offers constructive feedback on clinical practices, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Acts as a liaison among the Clinical Quality/Training Manager, Office Supervisors, and clinical personnel.
  • Addresses patient inquiries and implements strategies to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Develops, enforces, and monitors clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Facilitates communication with healthcare providers and staff regarding workflow modifications.
  • Provides leadership to clinical staff, fostering a professional environment for the delivery of primary care services.
  • Participates in management meetings and contributes to team discussions.
  • Oversees inventory management of clinical supplies and processes orders as necessary.
  • Steps in to support clinical staff as needed to maintain optimal provider-to-assistant ratios.
  • Reports electronic health record issues to relevant supervisors for resolution.
  • Manages data registration and maintenance for various clinical programs.
  • Promotes a culture of efficiency, safety, professionalism, and confidentiality in a dynamic work environment.
  • As an integral member of the patient care team, responsible for care coordination and effective communication across the patient population.

Qualifications:

· Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).

· At least 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced primary care setting.

· Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in a primary care environment.

· Current CPR certification for adults, infants, and children.

· Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Compensation: Starting at $58,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
