Clinical Supervisor - Family Medicine

The Clinical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of clinical staff across multiple practice locations. This position collaborates closely with medical leadership and the clinical training manager to ensure high-quality patient care.

  • Conducts evaluations of clinical staff, assessing both clinical and technical competencies, and completes annual performance reviews.
  • Provides guidance and support to clinical personnel across all practice sites through regular engagement and site visits.
  • Ensures the secure and accurate management of patient records and documentation.
  • Offers constructive feedback on clinical processes including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Acts as a liaison among the Clinical Quality/Training Manager, Office Supervisors, and clinical staff to enhance communication and workflow.
  • Addresses patient concerns effectively and implements strategies to boost patient satisfaction.
  • Implements and oversees clinical policies and procedures to maintain compliance and quality standards.
  • Facilitates communication with healthcare providers and staff regarding workflow modifications.
  • Provides essential clinical leadership that promotes the delivery of primary care services, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
  • Participates in management meetings and contributes to staff development initiatives.
  • Monitors inventory levels of clinical supplies and coordinates orders as necessary.
  • Steps in to support clinical staff as needed to maintain optimal patient care ratios.
  • Reports any electronic health record (EHR) issues to appropriate supervisory personnel for resolution.
  • Manages the registration and maintenance of various clinical programs, including holter monitor and vaccination care.
  • Fosters an environment of efficiency, safety, professionalism, and confidentiality in a dynamic healthcare setting.
  • As an integral member of the patient care team, responsible for care coordination and effective communication within the patient population.

Qualifications:

· Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).

· A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced primary care environment.

· At least 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in a primary care setting.

· Current CPR certification for adults, infants, and children.

· Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is essential.
