Job Summary:

Red River Waste Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and physically capable Waste Management Driver to join our team. As a Waste Management Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and hauling solid waste or recycled materials to a landfill site, transfer station, or recycle plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a truck safely and efficiently, complying with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Service assigned routes by collecting and hauling solid waste or recycled materials.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of routes, collections, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with other drivers and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class D Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, and snow. The driver will also be exposed to unpleasant odors and sights. The hours and physical requirements of the job may vary depending on the route or area.
