Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to support our operations at a prominent healthcare facility. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient functioning of various mechanical and electrical systems within the building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, pumps, and other critical equipment.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Perform electrical tasks, including circuit installations and fixture repairs.
  • Manage the upkeep of building infrastructure, including doors, ceilings, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Document maintenance activities and prepare reports for management review.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in building systems maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Proven skills in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to building maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a healthcare or similar environment is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environmental conditions.
