Creative Lead for Visual Arts

The Design Network is on the lookout for a dynamic and adaptable Art Director who possesses a passion for media and entertainment. This role requires a blend of innovative and strategic thinking alongside technical proficiency to craft engaging visuals for our brand and its array of original television series.
As the Art Director, you will be instrumental in shaping our brand identity, fostering a dedicated audience, enhancing viewership, and delivering successful outcomes for our sponsors. We seek a creative, optimistic, and solution-focused individual who is eager to explore unconventional ideas.
Located in High Point, NC, The Design Network stands as the fastest-growing streaming television channel dedicated to all aspects of home design. We offer breathtaking design insights and captivating narratives, featuring a roster of esteemed experts and popular influencers. Our mission is to redefine architecture, design, and lifestyle content. We curate inspiring materials from our design community and produce original series that entertain and educate our viewers. Our content is accessible on all major streaming platforms.
Hybrid Work Model: This position allows for a combination of remote and in-office work, requiring attendance in the office a couple of days each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute visually appealing designs for The Design Network brand, including website graphics, digital marketing assets, promotional materials, and printed collateral.
- Create graphics packages for series, encompassing show logos, lower thirds, infographics, and credits.
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate materials such as network presentations, series one-sheets, brand proposals, and campaign reports.
- Design and manage email campaigns directed at network viewers using third-party services.
- Work alongside the Creative Director to produce and share social media content, including graphics and videos for various platforms.
- Assist in enhancing the website's user interface and experience from a design and branding perspective.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members to share ideas and feedback.
- Help establish and maintain The Design Network's visual identity, focusing on consistency and innovation.
- Engage in brainstorming sessions, document design processes, and ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Graphic Design or a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail in visual communication, including color, layout, and typography.
- Experience in preparing files for both traditional and digital marketing.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with video editing software and basic video file management.
- Experience with website builders and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS is advantageous.
- Knowledge of various social media platforms.
- Ability to accept and implement creative direction and feedback across diverse projects.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, whether working independently or collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
