Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisition Analyst to join our team at the Washington Navy Yard. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers by focusing on vital contract administration elements and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement acquisition strategies to meet customer needs.
  • Analyze contract requirements and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Manage contract systems and track vendor performance.
  • Prepare and develop technical advisory reports for sole source actions.
  • Develop and maintain contract status reports for contract vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in acquisition analysis, preferably in the US Navy.
  • Extensive experience with complex, high-dollar contracts.
  • Proficiency in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs).
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense (DOD) Acquisition Pathways.
