Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated transport team at Omaha Children's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the care and transport of neonates from referring facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while accurately documenting patient responses and outcomes.
  • Utilize an advanced nursing process to provide high-quality care to neonates during transport.
  • Collaborate with physicians and referral teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring facilities and healthcare providers.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in neonatal care.
Requirements
  • Current and valid unrestricted Nebraska state licensure (e.g., APRN, PA, RN)
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 180 Days
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation within 180 Days
  • NNP-BC - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Board Certified
  • DEA License within 30 Days
