Position Overview:
As the Chief Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations during your assigned shift, ensuring the safety and protection of all guests, staff, and property within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Supervise and guide security personnel on duty to maintain a secure environment.
  • Implement and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
  • Delegate tasks to security associates based on their skills and experience to optimize performance.
  • Manage time-off requests and staff attendance in the absence of the shift supervisor.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities when supervisors are unavailable.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and respond promptly to emergencies and incidents.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security matters and incidents.
  • Safeguard company assets and ensure the secure handling of cash and chips on the premises.
  • Foster positive interactions with guests and team members, enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
  • Exemplify professionalism and integrity, setting a positive example for all associates.
  • Maintain accurate departmental records and reports, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Promote a culture of exceptional customer service within the security department.
  • Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality.

Supervisory Duties:
You will directly oversee the daily activities of security associates, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED required; or a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in the security department.
  • Five (5) years of experience in casino security, law enforcement, or private security is essential.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
  • Must complete Incident Management System training within the first year of employment.
  • No criminal convictions or arrests.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
This position requires the ability to lift and move up to eighty (80) pounds and maintain physical activity throughout the shift. The work environment may include exposure to loud noise levels and tobacco smoke.
