Key Responsibilities
  • Triage and Referral Services: Provide timely and effective triage services to clients, recommending appropriate treatment settings and expediting referrals to inpatient, rehabilitation, or community agencies as needed.
  • Counseling and Consultation: Offer individual, marital, and family counseling services to improve clients' ability to function effectively in their daily lives, working with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Clinical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, documenting client progress and service delivery, and preparing reports for insurance and referral agencies.
  • Program Development and Coordination: Contribute to the development of Counseling Center programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring they remain current and effective.
  • Inter- and Intra-System Liaison: Serve as a liaison and resource person, providing continuity of care and educational assistance as required, and participating in planning and marketing strategies to ensure referral sources.
  • Quality Assurance and Improvement: Participate in peer utilization and review, assisting in the coordination of quality assurance efforts to improve service delivery and treatment skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of prior job-related work experience.
  • Licensure: PA State LCSW, LPC, or Psychologist licensure.
  • Certification: CPR Certification.
