Job Title: On-Site Revenue Cycle Operations Liaison

Colorado Retina Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Cycle Operations Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for overseeing specific aspects of the revenue cycle process, including front-end financial clearance activities and back-end billing and collections for services rendered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement revenue cycle strategies aimed at improving cash flow, reducing denials, and enhancing overall revenue performance.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of action plans to close gaps and achieve business metrics.
  • Support the implementation of best practices and industry standards for revenue cycle management to obtain/retain best-in-class results.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental budget.
  • Manage supervisors and subordinate teammates across the RCM department and be responsible for the performance management and development, hiring, and discipline of subordinate teammates.
  • Collaborate with team members across various departments to streamline processes and resolve revenue cycle challenges.
  • Conduct ongoing productivity and process reviews and implement process revisions as needed.
  • Monitor aged accounts and verify appropriate collection procedures are being followed.
  • Makes recommendations for solutions that meet organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate credit balance policies.
  • Manage patient complaints concerning billing, collections, referrals, and authorizations.
  • Monitor the write-off process and approve adjustments after proper review and exhausted efforts.
  • Reviews financial hardship applications for completeness/compliance with regulatory guidelines; approves/denies based on established criteria.
  • Facilitates an inclusive workplace built on collaboration, cooperation, and a commitment to patient-centered excellence.
Requirements:
  • Five to Seven years of leadership experience required; Medical Billing and Prior Authorizations preferred.
  • Knowledge of NextGen, EPM, and Nextech EMR or similar platforms preferred.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in Billing practices.
  • Above average skills in process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example, maintain composure in stressful situations, communicate effectively.
  • Experience in Leadership methodologies, motivation techniques, applying coaching principles.

Salary Range:
  • $74,000 - $106,679.
