About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced fundraising professional to join our team as a Director of Corporate Partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and stewarding corporate relationships to support our mission to prevent and cure diabetes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to reach annual fundraising goals from corporations
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners to secure funding and support for our mission
  • Collaborate with the development team to drive strategy, relationships, and best practices to achieve market and region financial goals
  • Develop and steward a portfolio of relationships with corporate partners to provide funding for our mission
  • Recruit and lead high-level volunteers to provide local leadership, resources, and partnerships
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to all constituents
  • Manage, hire, evaluate, develop, and mentor a team of talented fundraising professionals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of nonprofit, fundraising, and/or sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising and nonprofit leadership
  • Proven record of success in account management and developing corporate partnerships that result in exceeding revenue targets
  • Knowledge of product marketing/sales concepts
  • Outcome-driven, with the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Ability to manage and motivate groups and individuals
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong market, community, and constituent perspective
  • Proficiency in computer-based information systems
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends
