The Avionics Shop Technician is responsible for the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionic components and systems. Utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools and methodologies, you will ensure that all components meet manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of electronic principles, including digital, analog, electromechanical, and RF systems.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a bench technician with a focus on electronic troubleshooting at the component level.
  • Comfort working in a shop environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
  • Proficiency in using various testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and voltmeters.
  • Support fellow technicians in the repair of components removed from aircraft.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to promote the development of fellow technicians and achieve organizational objectives.
  • An FCC license and a valid driver's license are required.
