Key ResponsibilitiesThe Avionics Shop Technician is responsible for the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionic components and systems. Utilizing a variety of testing equipment, you will restore components to meet manufacturer specifications.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of electronic theory, including digital, analog, electromechanical, and RF systems.
- At least 1 year of experience as a bench technician with a focus on electronic troubleshooting at the component level.
- Familiarity with a workshop environment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Proficient in the use of various testing instruments, such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and voltmeters.
- Support fellow technicians in the repair of components removed from aircraft.
- Provide guidance and technical support to promote the development of technician skills and achieve organizational objectives.
- An FCC license and a valid driver's license are required.
