Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to support the daily operations of our property. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of the property, including fiscal management, compliance, facilities, risk management, and resident relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule income verification appointments and prepare lease agreements
  • Assist with re-certifications, welfare exemption documents, and Management and Occupancy reviews
  • Issue notices, schedule vacancies, and prepare turnover forms
  • Assist with rent collection, security deposits, and petty cash management
  • Inspect property and identify maintenance and security issues
  • Support working relationships with local law enforcement and emergency agencies
  • Coordinate maintenance inspections and ensure work orders are processed timely
  • Maintain resident and property files while ensuring confidentiality
  • Communicate emergency preparedness procedures to residents and coordinate logistics for resident meetings
Requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office and/or RealPage software system
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on measurable results
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team-based environment
  • Must be well organized and detail-oriented
  • Valid California Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
