Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the onboarding process, including administering background checks, coordinating with other teams, and setting up key fobs for the Walnut Creek office.
- Process terminations, including gathering necessary paperwork, coordinating with other teams, and performing exit interviews.
- Utilize UKG HRIS to manage benefits enrollment, time management, and personnel file management.
- Plan new hire orientation meetings and assist employees with benefits coverage questions.
- Reconcile benefits and pre-screening invoices, and manage Sexual Harassment Prevention training for employees.
- Process employee name and address changes, and assist in scheduling and planning events and meetings for the internship program.
- Answer frequently asked questions from employees about benefits, timesheets, PTO requests, and other HR-related topics.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Prior Human Resources experience a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and high degree of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
The base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000, and the offer will depend on the geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
