Position Overview:
The primary goal of this role is to deliver outstanding customer support to both internal and external stakeholders by promptly identifying and addressing issues and customer inquiries, ensuring that Satellite Shelters Inc. receives timely payments for its products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Generate and manage recurring rental orders based on rental agreements; review and post these orders to rental invoices.
2. Prepare and dispatch rental invoices via US Mail or email as per the account holder's preference.
3. Complete lien waivers upon request.
4. Provide invoicing assistance for designated branches.
5. Review and process non-recurring and new orders.
6. Investigate customer disputes related to invoice discrepancies.
7. Enter customer invoices into their respective web portals.
8. Collaborate with branches regarding customer purchase orders.
9. Communicate with relevant personnel to amend purchase orders as needed.
10. Process credit card transactions on both a recurring and one-time basis as requested by the account holder.
11. Investigate any payment shortages received.
12. Reach out to overdue accounts to facilitate payment resolutions.
13. Request credits and refunds when necessary.
14. Assist accounting staff in resolving tax-related issues.
15. Investigate returned mail to ascertain the correct address for invoice delivery.
16. Handle correspondence from account holders and assist in resolving their concerns.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Role:
No formal supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or finance.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience in Credit and Collections.
- Ethical Conduct.
- Personal Effectiveness and Credibility.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Physical and Mental Demands:
This position primarily involves sedentary work, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and scanners.
